The last race of 2010 season of Red Bull Air Race Championship was exactly like all spectators were waiting: excited. Hannes Arch was the winner of the Germany round, but didn’t get points enough to reach Paul Bonhomme at the overall championship ranking. Thus, the Britain Bonhomme got the title and guaranteed the crown for the second consecutive year. Nigel Lamb, who was also fighting for the 2010 title, had a flat tire few minutes before the Top 4. Anyway he guaranteed the third place in the overall ranking.
“Nigel’s flat tire was a shame, but I thought both results are fair, the final result of the race regarding all the race week and the result of the 2010 World Championship”, said Adilson Kindlemann.
